Join us in the Longcourt Hotel Friday 1st if December at 7-9pm. Bring a friend and unwind painting some cute pottery ornaments for Christmas that you can give as gifts or keep for ever. Have a bit of fun before the season gets Christmas crazy!

6 Week Pottery Class

Adult Pottery Classes starting November.
 Book your place, bring a friend and learn the basics of ceramic while making delightful little works of art that you can bring home. Make new friends and explore a fun activity, develop new skills , unwind and let your inner child come out to play. These workshops are purely for fun, I hope to create a playful atmosphere where we are safe to explore, make mistakes and millions of happy accidents. Accomplishing this, one will find themselves confident in the basics of ceramics. 
  • Wednesday mornings 10.30-12.30 for 6 weeks.

Christmas Clay Pottery
Workshops for all ages 

Its the season to be jolly and to get crafty! Join me at the Hunt Museum to spend some magical time creating wonderful Christmas dreams from our imaginations. Using real clay we will make unique decorations that will be fired in my kiln turning them into professional ceramic pieces. Keep these beautiful items forever and a day or give as sentimental gifts.

Children - Saturday Dec 9th
Adults - Sunday Dec 10th

Booking fee is €25 the balance is taken on the day card or cash.

Mug Making

Perfect for best friends!
Spend some time crafting your very own mug shaped to fit your hand. Create a shape that brings you joy, Scratch or stick designs onto your mug and why not add some text? 
I will then dry and fire and glaze your mugs in a colour of your choice. When its all cooked, I will contact you to collect, postage is an option
Making - €65 per Adult 2 hr session. If you would like to paint the cup in your own fab designs then we will book you back into the studio to finish your mugs using snazzy paint on glazes in the studio to realise your design. 
This will require another kiln firing and when complete you will be notified. 
Glazing - €25 per Adult 2 hr session
I will be there to help you, no experience is needed and FUN is the objective :)
This activity can be enjoyed by a single person or as a group workshop.

Bell Making

Making bells is so easy and fun and you need no experience. In this workshop I will demonstrate how to make the bell using simple pottery methods, encouraging you to explore ideas and shapes. Perhaps adding a theme into your bell design, or create bell flowers.  Soon you'll soon be displaying your striking bells in your home. Once you learn just how easy and fun it is you'll be making bells for everyone! I will then fire and glaze your bells in a colour of your choice. When its all cooked, I will contact you to collect, postage is an option
Making - €65 per Adult 2hour session

couple Pottery Wheel Session

Take it in turns on the pottery wheel, this is so much fun to do together, especially if your new to pottery, you'll be in stiches. Each of ypu can  paint one of your made items each with a coloured clay ( not shiny) and this will be returned to you once ready. Additional items can be fired at €5 per item.
 €100 per 2 couple 1hr session.
If you would like to glaze your items in your own fab designs then we will book you back into the studio to finish your art using snazzy paint on glazes in the studio to realise your design.
This will require another kiln firing and when complete you will be notified.
Glazing - €25 per Adult 1 hr session
